Tavisin said that after meeting with AEG promoters on February 12, he inquired about the possibility of Swift playing a show in Thailand and was presented with the information. “If I had known this, I would have taken the show to Thailand,” he said. “Concerts can create added value to the economy.”
He continued to discuss the incident in his keynote speech. “The Singapore government is insightful,” he said. “If she had come to Thailand, I think it would have been cheaper to organize it here and we could have brought more sponsors and tourists to Thailand.
