Mason Greenwood has revealed that the Getafe striker has continued to impress during his loan spell from Manchester United this season.
Greenwood, 22, agreed to leave Old Trafford at the end of a six-month investigation after being cleared of assault and attempted rape charges, and joined the La Liga team for the remainder of the campaign in September. Ta.
The forward was arrested in January 2022 and charged with attempted rape, controlling/coercive conduct, and assault causing actual bodily harm, but after the key witness recanted, the charges were filed in February 2023. All charges were dropped.
After making a fresh start abroad, Greenwood has become a regular at Getafe, making 17 appearances so far, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
His current club are said to be hoping to sign him permanently, but other teams are reportedly currently in talks, including Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
