The architects embraced Villa Marie’s unique past by designing the entire building as vertically stacked villas. Dubbed ‘Sky Her Villas’, these structures pay homage to Singapore’s tropical greenery. Elements such as high ceilings, verandas, lush courtyards, arches and terracotta roof tiles are reintroduced, linking architecture and its context and rediscovering past climate responses.

Inside Artisen Singapore Hotel

Artyzen Singapore is comprised of five main parts, with ONG&ONG surrounded by a sky garden facade stacked on alternating floors. The verticality of space is explored within the hotel, especially in the common areas on his fourth floor and his fifth floor. These spaces are interconnected and adorned with lush greenery, providing a special garden experience. The transition from the hustle and bustle of the city to a tranquil oasis is accentuated by mirrored ceilings that reflect the lush surroundings. Multiple sky gardens are connected to the guest rooms on the 8th floor and above, allowing guests to immerse themselves in tropical greenery directly from their balconies. The rooftop terrace represents the dual nature of Singapore’s urban fabric and offers views across the city.
