A new route connecting multiple cities is proposed.

Europe is really stepping up its rail competition, just look at the new sleeper services launching this year. Announcements about new trains and new routes continue.

Czech public transport company Leo Express plans to introduce new services across vast areas of the continent. Belgium to Slovakia There are many stops along the way.

The company has just submitted plans to Belgium’s rail transport regulator outlining a 19-hour round trip route from Ostend to Bratislava.

Departing just after 6am, the service will stop in places like Bruges, Brussels and Liege in Belgium, before passing through some of Germany’s most exciting cities including Cologne, Hannover, Leipzig and Dresden.

It then travels through the Czech Republic (also known as the Czech Republic), stopping in Prague before finishing in Bratislava between 1am and 2am the following day. There will be approximately 50 stops in total.

The same railway operator also took over the line between Bratislava and Komarno, which began operating on December 10. Thanks to its new fleet, it is on track to offer close to 100 connections per day.

According to Berga, the Ostend and Bratislava proposals still require approval and the decision will depend on access to Belgian infrastructure. However, if all goes well, this mysterious route could launch somewhere between late 2024 and early 2025.
