Accor Group ends 2023 with strategic partnerships in Singapore, Philippines and India to execute on its vision of growth and expansion across the region

SINGAPORE – Accor, the world’s leading hospitality group, is pleased to announce the addition of several new properties to its Asian portfolio, signed at the end of 2023, continuing the company’s commitment to growth and expansion.

The new deal includes the addition of Novotel, Mercure and Ibis to its brands, strengthening Accor’s position as a leader in the premium, midscale and economy segments. This strategic expansion is consistent with the company’s vision to provide diverse and exceptional experiences to guests around the world.

Mercure Icon Singapore City Center (Singapore)

Accor has teamed up with Singapore’s largest hotel operator Worldwide Hotels Group to create the world’s largest Mercure hotel, the world’s largest Mercure hotel, boasting an impressive 989 keys and scheduled to open in Q1 2024. We are planning to introduce Icon Singapore City Center to Singapore. This locally inspired hotel seamlessly blends the historic charm of Chinatown with the dynamic energy of the Central Business District (CBD). Guests will immerse themselves in Singapore’s trendy enclave’s vibrant culinary and entertainment scene, enjoy historic temples and quaint shophouses, and sample local cuisine at nearby restaurants and hawker centres. The dynamic lobby features an attractive video wall, and the all-day restaurant serves as a social gathering spot. The lounge and bar concept offers a versatile space with lounge seating and power sockets. The hotel also features a landscaped pool deck, a rejuvenating indoor gym, and parking for EV charging vehicles, providing a comprehensive and innovative guest experience.

ibis Styles Subic (Philippines)

ibis Styles Subic is set to be Subic’s first internationally branded hotel and enjoys a strategic location, easily accessible, opposite Ayala Mall’s Harbor Point. Scheduled to open in 2026, the hotel offers the latest in interior design, catering to both business and family guests with a playful and trendy design. 175 Keys’ facilities prioritize a holistic stay experience, featuring a swimming pool, meeting space, and gym, all designed to promote fun. Conveniently located a 10-minute walk from Subic Bay Yacht Club and a 3-minute drive from SBMA Beach, ibis Styles Subic is sure to become a hot spot in the vibrant Subic Bay area.

Mercure Subic (Philippines)

Mercure Subic will be Subic’s second internationally branded hotel and will be strategically located in the heart of Subic district, adjacent to ibis Styles Subic. Scheduled to open in 2026, the hotel will feature his 250 modernly designed rooms, in line with Mercure brand standards and inspired by local influences. Mercure Subic’s facilities and amenities include all-day dining and specialty dining, a swimming pool with pool bar, a fully equipped gym, and versatile meeting and conference space.

Mercure Rajamundi City Center (India)

In collaboration with Compass Enterprises Private Limited, Mercure Rajahmundry City Center will come up strategically on 100 feet of major roads in the city. Located in the industrial and spiritually important city of Rajahmundry, known for its bullion markets and Hindu pilgrimage sites, the hotel offers a blend of authenticity and comfort throughout its 120 guest rooms. We are planning to offer a blend. Elevating the culinary experience, Mercure Rajahmundry features three distinctive eateries and is complemented by his expansive 1,000 square meter banqueting facilities to host even more spectacular events. ibis Styles Mysuru (India)

Established as the first ibis Styles in Mysore, the cultural capital of Karnataka, India, this vibrant addition to the ibis Styles family offers playful design, contemporary amenities and a comfortable stay. We are committed to redefining hospitality. Scheduled to open in Q1 2025, ibis Styles Mysuru will boast 130 rooms, each with unique features. The property features an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a relaxing lounge bar, offering cuisine to suit a variety of tastes. In addition to lodging and dining, we also offer a wide range of facilities, including a spacious 450 square meter banquet hall, a fully equipped fitness center, and a tranquil pool to ensure your stay is fulfilling and comfortable.

Novotel Bangalore Airport Varun and ibis Styles Bangalore Airport Varun (India)

Located at KIADB Aerospace SEZ, Hardware & IT Park in North Bangalore, the two properties are located close to the Bangalore International Airport and each boasts 180 well-appointed rooms. With modern aesthetics and comfort, Novotel offers a wide range of cuisines in its restaurant and chic bar. We offer a special dining experience. These properties are conveniently located next to each other and share important amenities, including spacious banquet and meeting space, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a refreshing swimming pool. This unique arrangement allows guests to enjoy the distinct personalities of each of Accor’s brands, offering an exceptional dual-brand experience in the thriving heart of Bangalore.
