BRUSSELS (BRAIN) – Belgian electric bike brand Cowboy has launched an at-home mobile service to support riders in Europe.
On-demand services include maintenance, bike set-up, puncture repair, and rear rack and child seat installation. All reservations are made through the Cowboy mobile app. Prices for the on-demand service start from 69 euros ($74).
“As part of our strategic focus this year, we are prioritizing after-sales support across our business,” Cowboy co-founder and chief technology officer Tanguy Goretti told BRAIN. “Our goal is to simplify the process of getting started and maintaining a bike, allowing our customers to seamlessly incorporate cycling into their lives. By offering on-demand services, we are improving the overall brand experience and We aim to enhance our customer accessibility and commitment to our customers.” Owning a Cowboy electric bike will ensure you have a thoroughly enjoyable and stress-free journey. ”
The target area is all of Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Some coverage will also be available in France, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark and Italy. A Cowboy spokesperson said the brand is focused on establishing on-demand in Europe before expanding to other countries, including the United States.
Cowboy is also working with more than 175 local bike shops in Europe, with a goal of 1,000 by the end of the year. Last May, it announced plans to begin work on IBD. He has customers in more than 2,500 cities and towns in Europe and the United States. Two years ago, the brand announced its $80 million Series C funding round.
