1. Sundowner

Founded in 2020, The Sundowner offers a one-of-a-kind rooftop farm experience where you can rest while learning about nature in a bustling urban landscape. Reconnect with nature for more than two hours on the rooftop farm of a preserved shophouse in the Siglap area (705A East Coast Road).

What’s interesting is that the rescued bees are flying around the farm. For the adventurous, you can don a bee suit and get an up-close look at bee hives and colonies. Then, you can taste exotic honeys from our extensive honey library with a focus on Southeast Asia. Finish the evening with a freshly prepared cocktail garnished with herbs from the garden.

Sundowner offers a two-hour experience with activities including organic farming classes, bee encounters, and farm-to-table tastings (all 40 minutes). In addition to the farm, there are also fun F&B experiences such as cocktail mixing classes, pizza making experiences, and dinner afterwards. You can also reserve the entire rooftop and bar exclusively. Please note that this location is open by reservation only.

2. Natsuki’s Garden

The owners of Natsuki Farm founded this place in 2020, inspired by attractive farmers markets overseas. Their goal is to offer high-quality, locally sourced specialty products produced with significantly reduced carbon emissions. All plants are grown sustainably and responsibly, with no genetically modified crops or synthetic pesticides. Vegetables and fruits here are usually harvested when they are ripe.

The farm grows a wide variety of vegetables, including Jerusalem artichokes, carrots, potatoes, sweet corn, and radishes. You’ll find all kinds of fragrant basil, from Greek to Thai to Italian, as well as many varieties of eggplant, peppers, and melons. Rare items such as cucumbers and tomatoes, domestically grown white bitter gourds, and Abashi Okinawa bitter gourds also appear from time to time.

Check Natsuki Farm’s social media to find out what produce is available for order and collection. If you would like to grow your own plants, the garden sells specialty seedlings. Check out the inventory online and go collect it yourself.

The greenhouse located at Sprout Hub (102 Henderson Road) is open to the public on Saturday mornings (until 11 a.m.).
