Bombardier (TSX:BBD.A) is set to debut its Global 7500 aircraft at the Singapore Air Show, which runs from Tuesday to Sunday.
The Montreal-based airline said in a news release that its newest aircraft has the longest range in business aviation, flying more than 8,225 nautical miles.
Additionally, the Global 7500 jet offers a seamless, smooth ride and is said to have the largest and longest range of any certified and operational business aircraft.
“The Global 7500 aircraft is the perfect choice for customers in the Asia-Pacific region seeking a top-of-the-line business jet for long-distance travel. It is also a capable option for specialty and defense clients who require reliable workhorses for a variety of missions. ” Jean-Christophe Gallagher, vice president of aircraft sales and Bombardier Defense, said in a statement.
Over the past six months, Global 7500 aircraft have flown multiple record-breaking missions and the company has delivered more than 150 aircraft.
Notably, the aircraft has a top speed of Mach 0.925 and a range of 7,700 nautical miles. The latest flights include Los Angeles to New York and New York to London. The longest flight was from London City Airport.
In addition to debuting its Global 7500 aircraft in Singapore, Bombardier announced that it has expanded its cost per flight hour program with the introduction of: Smart Services Defense is provided for its special missions, first responders, heads of state and government operators.
The Smart Service Defense program provides customers with a cost-per-flying hour program that allows them to budget for essential aircraft parts and maintenance costs.
“Smart Service Defense customers can also choose from a wide selection of optional maintenance and operating cost options to design a program for maximum peace of mind. With Smart Service Defense, customers can Gain access to enhanced cost protection packages that can be customized to fit your needs and backed by over 30 years of Bombardier experience: Cost per Flight Hour Solutions Experience Bombardier Aftermarket Services and Strategies Paul Sislian, executive vice president, said in a statement.
