Canadian Olympian Lindsay Kellock has sourced a horse named Kensington to be her new Grand Prix contender in Belgium.
Kensington is a 9-year-old colt out of Vivaldi and out of Wild Rose (Sir Sinclair x Gribaldi) and out of KWPN. He is bred by JA Sassen in the Netherlands.

As a foal, Kensington finished 13th at the 2015 KWPN Foal Championship at Ermelo.
He was sold at a young age to Julie Dossin of Belgium, and in 2020 Dossin rode him in the Belgian Selection Trial for the 2020 World Young Horse Championships. She took him to Prix Saint-Georges level in a few domestic starts in Belgium.
Dossin’s trainer, Jeron Deveraux, took Kensington into training six months ago and has trained him to Grand Prix level.

Kensington currently joins Team Enterprise, Canadian Grand Prix rider Lindsey Kellock’s stable, in Wellington, Florida. He was acquired by sponsor Melissa Schiff.
“He has started his journey with us and we can’t wait for him to arrive,” Lindsey said. She told Eurodressage that he is “training everything from Inter 2. Melissa Schiff of Enterprise Equestrian bought him for me to grow and compete with. “I don’t have any immediate plans yet. I’m just going to get to know him and see how far he can go.”
Kellock will ride Sebastian to represent Canada at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, finishing 50th at the Grand Prix with a score of 65.404%. They were aiming to qualify for the world championships in 2022, but health issues forced them to retire from the sport early. Since then, Kerock has continued to produce Lisa Apa’s Hannoverian 12-year-old Tour le Mérite (Totilas x Sarkozy) to Grand Prix level. She declared him a candidate for the Canadian Olympic team in Paris.
Linsday said of the Tour le Mérite: “I’m planning to race in a Grand Prix soon.”
