China Eastern Airlines, the plane’s first global customer, said China’s first homegrown narrow-body aircraft, the C919, arrived at Singapore’s Changi Airport on Saturday, ready to debut at the international air show.
The first C919 took off from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport at 8:04 pm on Friday, completed a direct flight of approximately 4,200 km, and arrived in Singapore at 1:49 am on Saturday.
According to the schedule, the first C919 will join four other domestic aircraft manufactured by Civil Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) during the Singapore Air Show from February 20 to February 25.
