Pan Zanre The Chinese athlete led the men’s 4×100 freestyle relay on the first night in Doha, setting a new world record in the men’s 100 freestyle.Pan’s swim scored 46.80 points david popovichPopovich swam in August 2022 with a score of 46.86.

Zanle was faster than Popovich in the 50s, which makes sense given that this was Popovich’s second 50s, which was the third fastest back half split as of Popovich’s 2022 swim. right.

Zanle led China to the gold medal in the relay. This was the first time that a Chinese male athlete won a medal in the men’s 4×100 freestyle relay.
Zhanle’s swim marked China’s first world record in men’s sprint events in both LCM and SCM. For Pan setting the world record he will earn a bonus of 30,000 USD.
Zanre was noticeably slower during the split this morning as he split a flying start on the anchor leg in 48.26 seconds. Clearly, Pan stepped up a gear in tonight’s final.
