Astronauts aboard the Chinese space station entered the newly arrived cargo spacecraft and began sorting and inspecting items.

Footage released by the China Manned Space Engineering Administration on Tuesday (January 23) shows astronauts from Shenzhou 17 opening the hatch of Tianzhou 7 and beginning to sort the cargo.

Tianzhou-7 has approximately 250 pieces of cargo in its pressurized cabin, with a total mass of approximately 12,350 pounds (5,600 kilograms). This material includes daily necessities for astronauts, maintenance kits and spare parts for space station equipment, experimental samples, and station propellant.
