Coca-Cola Singapore has installed five XSQUARE Technologies autonomous forklift trucks (AGVs) in its fleet at its regional beverage concentrate plant.
According to the beverage maker, XSQUARE’s Springer AGVs are integrated into the factory shop floor and automated warehouses, transporting finished products within the premises.
Coca-Cola Singapore factory general manager Gerard Altavia said the new AGV “marks another milestone in the Industry 4.0 transformation journey.”
“Through our partnership with XSQUARE and our continued efforts to fully automate our Singapore factory, we will continue to improve our processes, create value-added jobs for our employees, and build on our commitment to Singapore’s advanced manufacturing industry. We want to contribute to a vibrant ecosystem,” said Altavia.
Coca-Cola Singapore said it has already seen improvements in efficiency and safety with the implementation of XSQUARE’s intelligent warehouse solution and has recommended XSQUARE to its sister factories.
“Our technology is more than just automation. It is important to enhance human efforts and ensure efficiency in all aspects,” said Jens Bohnwagner, CEO of XSQUARE.
“This partnership with Coca-Cola marks a critical juncture in our efforts to revolutionize warehousing across Asia Pacific, setting new benchmarks in warehouse technology and operations.”
