1. Give love to those around you
January 19th is the birthday of his wife and assistant Lorraine Chan (in her 50s).
The two met through work and dated in secret for about 20 years before going public with their relationship in 2014.
During the surprise corner, Koo sang a birthday song in Cantonese and Mandarin with the audience for Chan, who was backstage.
“Let’s take a video of a bunch of people celebrating her birthday, okay?” he suggested, capturing the moment on his iPhone.
Their close relationship was evident. He said her camera-shy spouse recently joked about what he would buy her for a birthday present, and that he usually kept her income from her job anyway. added.
To express his love for his girlfriend, the star performed the tender ballad “Finding You Is My Biggest Accomplishment” (2015).
Koo then invited the two couples to the stage and told how they met. He performed the sentimental songs “Hobby” (1999) and “Making A Wish” (1999) for them.
It was a sweet celebration of love, a little early for Valentine’s Day, but it infused warmth into his show.
