His Royal Highness highlighted Jordan’s ambition to become an emerging force on the international technology scene, emphasizing the importance of digital transformation and entrepreneurship in fostering creativity and turning ideas into reality.

The Crown Prince said at a forum organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Embassy of Jordan in Singapore that the similarities between Jordan and Singapore’s technology talent serve as a bridge to connect the two countries and strengthen cooperation for mutual benefit. His Highness invited businessmen, professionals and CEOs to visit Jordan to learn more about the ICT and entrepreneurship sector, where the country is full of promising talent.

Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Minister Ahmad Hanandeh said Jordan’s digital economy continues to flourish, with more than 8,000 students graduating from IT-related programs every year, adding that Jordanians are attracting businesses from around the world. He pointed out that it has a positive impact.

He expressed the Ministry’s keenness to continue supporting Singaporean companies in finding the best home for their business in Jordan, and helping them leverage Jordan’s outstanding potential as a global IT and business process outsourcing hub. He highlighted the Jordan Source Program, which is helping to make this possible.

The Jordan-Singapore Tech Alliance Forum will feature around 150 representatives of Singaporean technology startups, as well as six Jordanian startups that provide technical support to international companies in areas such as gaming, digital education and creative industries. Names participated.

At the forum, Jordan’s leading technology companies will explain their initiatives, and participants will explore the competitiveness of the Saudi ICT sector and the success stories of Jordanian startups to attract international companies to Jordan. Participated in the discussion.

The forum also included a presentation on the Jordan Source Program, launched in 2021 at a ceremony attended by the Crown Prince, to promote Jordan as an international hub for innovation and investment in ICT and communications.

The forum is part of a series of Jordan Source promotional tours aimed at attracting investment and building partnerships with international companies looking to expand into the Middle East through Jordan.

On the sidelines of the forum, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Jordan Bank Institute and the Singapore FinTech Association.

Planning Minister Zeina Tukan, Jordanian Ambassador to Singapore Samer Nabel and Crown Prince Zaid Baqain’s Chief of Staff attended the forum.
