DAZN Spain, the regional arm of the international sports streaming platform, has secured exclusive rights to Nascar, America’s premier stock car racing series, through 2026.
The three-year agreement will see DAZN live broadcast 38 NASCAR Cup events annually, starting with this weekend’s (February 18) Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.
The package includes live rights to the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, which serve as support races for the main event. All live broadcasts will include commentary in Spanish.
DAZN will also broadcast highlights from all events, including the NASCAR Euro Series, which will tour Europe later this year.

Outside of motorsport, the county also owns the rights to Spanish soccer’s La Liga and La Liga 2, English soccer’s Premier League, France’s F-League, and the North American NFL.
The deal comes after Nascar announced its broadcast partners for the 2025-2031 Nascar Cup domestic media rights cycle, continuing with national networks Fox Sports and NBC Sports, Amazon’s Prime Video and Added TNT Sports.
The CW Network will be the exclusive national broadcaster for the NASCAR Xfinity Series from 2025 to 2031, airing 33 live races each weekend, as well as practice and qualifying events. The deal was announced last July.

The appointment comes after telecommunications operator Telefonica and its pay-TV service Movistar were fined by the CNMC over a carriage agreement with DAZN for the rights to broadcast F1 in the country.
Last year, Telefonica was fined 5 million euros ($5.3 million) for once again failing to meet the commitments it accepted when it acquired prominent pay-TV operator Distributed Television Digital (DTS) in 2015. was fined.
CNMC said it voluntarily offered a series of commitments to enable the carrier to acquire DTS and remain competitive in the market.
However, the watchdog found that Telefonica was in breach with its sublicensing agreement with DAZN for F1 rights.
The deal includes DAZN’s own channels being made available to Telefonica on a non-exclusive basis, with the telecom giant creating and selling streaming packages to third parties. DAZN also launched a dedicated linear channel on Movistar Plus, the pay-TV operator owned by Telefonica.
CNMC’s investigation concluded that Telefónica breached multiple promises, including excluding F1 premium content from its wholesale offer and marketing it exclusively in favor of DAZN.
