The retailer partners have opened new stores and relaunched renovated sites to round out the brand’s 2023 expansion.
Across the country, Desper Italia partners celebrated the opening of new stores and the re-opening of renovated stores to round out the brand’s expansion in 2023.
Gruppo 3A, our brand partner for the North West region, has welcomed two new stores to its expanding network. A new 250 square meter Despar store has opened in Darsena di Savona, where customers can choose from a wide selection of fresh produce such as fruits and vegetables.
At the end of November, Desper di Vallecrosia opened in Imola. The new supermarket stocks 3,200 products, including fruit and vegetables, cold meats and dairy products. We also have a wide range of environmentally friendly facilities, such as LED lighting and sealed refrigerated counters that have a low environmental impact.
There have been two important developments in the Despar North-East store portfolio. The first Eurospar supermarket opens in Cremona, Lombardy. The 1,451 square meter facility is home to 35 team members and offers customers a new way to shop.
Additionally, Despar Nord Est celebrated the re-opening of its renovated Despar store near Padua city center. The store now has a more welcoming look and feel for customers, with fresh touches including more eco-friendly features, new shelving, the introduction of a new product range and a new coat of paint.
Maiora srl, Despar Italia partner for the Mid-South region, has opened three new stores with the refurbishment of one store. Despar Centro Sud’s expansion in Calabria continued with the opening of the new modern Eurospar supermarket in Milto Crozier.
Two smaller Despar stores have also opened in nearby areas. One store is located in Macerata Campania and the other in Cassino. Both stores offer quality and convenience, from the delicatessen to the butcher shop to the produce section.
The renovated Interspar hypermarket in Vibo Valentia, Calabria, reopened in November. The store has become more environmentally friendly with the installation of LED lighting and a CO2 refrigeration system using the latest generation of refrigeration technology, ensuring energy efficiency and high safety and reliability.
In Sardinia, Desper Sardinia is developing a new store for next year’s high season. With this in mind, the company has opened two Eurospar supermarkets in Sardinia and a new Eurospar supermarket in Santa Justa, in the province of Oristano. Additionally, the Eurospar supermarket in Porto Torres, Sassari province, has reopened.
