A series that no one expected, but everyone expected.
After being directed by Paquita Salas, Javis returns to Netflix in Nacho Vigalondo’s new film ‘Superstar’, El vecino (also from Netflix), Our Flag Means Death, and the director of international films such as Colossal and Open Windows. The director was also nominated for an Oscar in 2004 for his short film 7:35 a.m., so it’s not insignificant that director Javis was involved in this project.
Superstar focuses on the artistic beginnings of singer Yulena, who in her early years became known as Tamara. Yurena became a real sensation in her 2000s. She rocked like no one else with her song “No cambié”. But her story is much more than that, and you’ll soon discover it in this series.
