FIFTY FIFTY’s agency Attrakt is holding auditions in Singapore to discover new members for the K-Pop girl group.
Attrack and Singaporean company Evergreen Group Holdings have announced plans to hold an on-site audition at Singapore’s Orchard Central on February 3 as part of the “2024 FIFTY FIFTY Global Audition” program.
K-POP Agency is looking for women over the age of 14 (or born before 2009) who reside in Southeast Asia. The application period is from January 11th to 21st, before the preliminary audition in Singapore.
Attrakt will hold online auditions from January 11th to February 10th with similar participant conditions. Finalists from both the online and Singapore auditions will face off in the grand finals to be held in Thailand on February 17th.
according to Straits Times, The winner of the audition will “receive intensive training in preparation for debut in the second quarter of 2024.” For more information, please visit the official audition website.
This audition program will take place approximately three months after Attrakt terminated their contracts with former group members Alan, Sio, and Saena. This comes amid a legal battle between the label and the K-pop idol over their contract.
Currently, only member Keena appears in FIFTY FIFTY, but Keena was originally a group mate who participated in the lawsuit. However, she later dropped her lawsuit against KAttrakt and rejoined the label in mid-October 2022.
Keena has since expressed plans to continue releasing music as a member of the group, saying in a recent statement that she is “preparing to entertain and demonstrate my efforts with FIFTY FIFTY songs.”
