Florida Woman Misses Abroad According to NBC Miami, 40-year-old Ana Knezevic went missing on Friday, February 2nd, after living in an apartment in Madrid, Spain, since December. WSVN reported that the Fort Lauderdale woman was working overseas during divorce proceedings. Neighbors saw Knezevic around 10pm the night she went missing, but she later reported that she had disappeared, and her friend Sanna Rameau , a woman said she started receiving strange text messages from her cell phone. She said Rameau received a text message from Knezevic saying she was meeting someone and was going to his villa two hours away from Madrid, where the signal was spotty. She is,” Rameau said. “What is she talking about? This doesn’t make any sense and my message didn’t get through.” Rameau said she believes someone kidnapped Knezevic. She was taken against her will and I don’t know by whom she was taken,” Rameau said. Two days after she was last seen, law enforcement conducted a welfare check at her apartment, but Knezewicz was nowhere to be found. “They couldn’t find her,” she said. “It appears she left the apartment locked from the outside. Police said something strange was caught on surveillance cameras the night Knezevic was last seen. “She was wearing a helmet. Rameau received an email from Knezevic saying he was going to meet someone and go to his villa two hours from Madrid, where the signal was spotty.
“I tried to say I was worried about her. I was like, ‘You don’t feel safe,'” Rameau said. “What is she talking about? This doesn’t make any sense and my message didn’t get through.”
Rameau believes someone has kidnapped Knezevic.
“She didn’t leave on her own. I don’t know who took her against her will,” Rameau said.
Two days after she was last seen, law enforcement conducted a welfare check at her apartment, but Knezewicz was nowhere to be found.
