A new Italian restaurant is coming to Grantham.
Take Italy Bistrot is scheduled to open in Westgate in the former location of The Snug, which closed in July.
Owner Cristian Romeo said the family-run restaurant wanted to become the “culinary capital of Grantham”.
In addition to offering people authentic Italian cuisine, the bistro will also host themed events, cooking workshops and celebrations that “reflect the richness of Italian culture,” Christian added.

“Grantham’s charm and diverse community made it the perfect canvas for our culinary adventures.
“We want to bring a piece of Italy to this wonderful city and create a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.
“Unfortunately Grantham doesn’t have a traditional Italian restaurant and we realized that people really needed one.
“Our commitment to sustainability, community engagement and providing a superior dining experience is at the forefront of our vision.”
In addition to operating a restaurant, Take Italy Bistrot also provides takeout services.
Due to current renovations, an official opening date has not yet been confirmed.
