Q: Were you an active person when you were young?

A: Not at all! I tried to avoid any kind of exercise as much as possible.

What have you become more passionate about as you get older?

I started yoga over 10 years ago and my main motivation at that time was purely health. Then I gradually became more dedicated and it has become a part of my life ever since.

But during the coronavirus pandemic, I couldn’t go to a studio to practice yoga, so I started following YouTube and researched different types of exercises as well. He realized there wasn’t one exercise that covered everything, so when pandemic restrictions eased, he went to the gym to do pull-ups and started doing calisthenics.

What made you decide to start teaching yoga and Pilates?

To be honest, I never thought about teaching yoga because there is so much to learn about it. A friend of mine who was taking a yoga teacher training course encouraged me and told me that I could learn more by attending the course and sharing my practice with others.

I gave it a try and then had the opportunity to actually share my learnings and become a teacher. That makes me very happy!

Has becoming a mother changed the way you think about fitness?

I started thinking more seriously about how I could continue my journey. Having “me” time is very important and every mother should try to find time for herself.

Did you experience anything that made you feel insecure about yourself when you were younger?

I was bullied at school. I was bullied by my classmates in middle school, and it affected me for a long time. I finally realized that silence is never the way to protect yourself.

When was the last time you felt least confident?

At work, when you feel like you don’t know much about the topic being discussed. The only way is to study and pay attention. Just like anything you want to do in life, if you put your heart and soul into it, it will pay off.

Have you ever struggled with your body?

Yes, it’s postpartum. I was pretty depressed because everything about your body changed. For example, the skin loses its tightness, and the stomach is the most difficult part to restore to its original shape.

Are you satisfied with your body now?

Yes, a healthy body is the best body. But to maintain it, you need to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Do you have any comments about your body?

yes i will. People say I look very toned or getting toned and very healthy. I’m happy with these comments because they affirm the direction I’m heading.

If you could change anything about yourself, would you?

Yes, I am working on a better version of myself every day.
