Nike has just significantly expanded its brick-and-mortar footprint in Singapore.
The sports giant opened Nike Orchard Road in partnership with GMG, a global retailer and distributor in the Middle East. His three-story store at 268 Orchard Road covers 28,000 square feet. Nike confirmed in a statement that the store is the largest monobrand store in Asia outside of China.
“Nike Orchard Road is a response to Singaporeans’ growing love of sports,” Sanjay Gangopadhyay, Nike vice president and general manager for Southeast Asia and India, said in a statement. “Whether it’s running your first mile, running 100 miles, doing yoga or taking the game-winning basketball shot, Nike Orchard brings the best of sports to the city and inspires all forms of movement. We congratulate you. This is the region’s newest and largest sports hub for all our athletes.”
Inside the store, consumers will find Nike and Jordan Brand products for men, women and children interested in performance, style and trends. The store will also feature Nike’s online-to-offline services and Nike-exclusive digital experiences.
Nike Orchard Road is focused on the needs of women and girls and will do so by “creating meaningful innovation, design and experiences for them,” the company said in a statement. This includes Nike’s latest innovations in fitness shoes, bras and leggings. This is accomplished on the first floor of the store, which includes a bra and leggings section to “showcase the benefits she values most, such as fit, feel and support,” as well as a bra and leggings section that “showcases the benefits she values most, including fit, feel and support.” ) said: We provide expert product knowledge and assist with bra fitting.
Nike Orchard Road also includes Swoosh Studio, a sports, wellness and creativity space. According to Nike’s description, the space will host a comprehensive fitness and wellness program with trainers and coaches who “have her in mind and serve all athletes.” Swoosh her studio will also host style and creativity workshops “focused on increasing her self-expression and confidence in sport and life.”
On the third floor, Nike introduced the Nike By You customization experience, where customers can personalize select footwear and apparel purchased in-store. Customization options include city-specific graphics and accessories. And the Nike His Orchard Road opening will feature customization options from three local artists. Their Nike designs are “inspired by both the heartbeat of Singapore sports and the stories of our athletes,” the brand says.

The store is currently open and business hours are from 10am to 10pm Singapore Time (SGT).
In its latest earnings release, Nike reported second-quarter 2024 sales of $13.4 billion, an increase of 1% from the previous year.
