Japanese rock band King Gnu will hold their first concert in Singapore on April 10th

SINGAPORE – Japanese rock band King Gnu is touring Asia for the first time, bringing The Greatest Unknown Asia show to Singapore on April 10.

The tour kicks off in Osaka on January 13th, hitting the Japanese cities of Nagoya, Tokyo, Fukuoka and Sapporo before heading to Singapore. Other Asian destinations on this tour include Taipei, Shanghai, and Seoul.

Tickets for the show at The Star Theater range from $88 to $208 and go on sale January 22nd.

King Gnu was formed in 2013 with four members: Daiki Tsuneta (vocals and guitar), Satoru Iguchi (vocals and keyboards), Kazuki Arai (bass), and Yu Seki (drums).

The quartet released their fifth studio album, The Greatest Unknown, in November 2023. This album includes the opening theme song “Specialz” for the second season (2020-2023) of the hit anime “Jujutsu Kaisen”.

This album reached number 1 on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Chart and Billboard Japan Chart.

Specialz is currently No. 6 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart, and the music video has been viewed over 67 million times within three months of its release.
