Jude Bellingham leads the Spanish national team, but everyone was afraid of the young star in Ronaldo’s debut season

Everyone has been comparing Jude Bellingham to the wrong Ronaldo.

The English megastar has started his Real Madrid career in surprising fashion, breaking the goalscoring record he had never relied on scoring during his career.

Although his form has slowed down a bit recently due to a dislocated shoulder, he has already earned his place in the Galácticos with 17 goals and six assists in just 24 appearances.

Bellingham, who won the Golden Boy and Copa trophies at the age of 20, became the first white Madrid player to win the Spanish Super Cup.

Bellingham is already predicted to be a great England player and plaudits continue to pour in for Bellingham, with manager Carlo Ancelotti comparing him favorably to Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka. ing.

But there’s one player who surprised La Liga even more as a teenager: Brazilian icon Ronaldo.

The Phenomenon, who moved from PSV to Barcelona in 1996, turned 20 in Spain, just like Bellingham, and achieved that age with an astonishing 47 goals in 49 games.

Thirty-four of those appearances came in La Liga, where the Catalans won the league for the first time in eight years and completed a treble with the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de España.

Legendary British coach Sir Bobby Robson famously put his hands on his head, unable to believe that Ronaldo had won the Golden Boot and the Ballon d’Or.

But what was even more shocking was how short-lived Ronaldo’s time at Barça was, as he achieved all these feats in just one season.

Ronaldo was an unstoppable force

Contract negotiations failed in the summer and Ronaldo joined Inter Milan for a world record fee of £19 million.

The icon made an impact in Italy and returned to Spain with Real Madrid, but even at the best of times nothing could match his debut season, and even Bellingham might not have had anything better.

Emmanuel Petit claims Jude Bellingham is the best player in world football at the moment, ahead of Kylian Mbappé and Harry Kane
