Former stallion based in Ireland Kessar (Ire) (Kodiak {GB} – Kerrus, from Raven’s Pass) was purchased by Renu Italian Breeding and will stand at Scuderia Melissa Cipriani in Castelnuovo Berardenga, Italy this year. The stallion, priced at €5,000, will be managed by Mattia Cadrovi and managed by Marco Bozzi and Guido Berardelli.
Produced by Tully Horse Stud, G2 Mill Reef S and G3 Sirenia S, Hero is a 100,000 gram Tattersalls October foal, trained by John Gosden and trained by Mohammed Al Qatami and Khalid Al Mudaf. I started the race. Having won three of his seven career starts (all two wins), Kesar retired to Tally Ho in 2019. His large family includes GII Pennsylvania Derby and GII Ohio Derby winner and stallion Gone Astray (Dixie Union), and his oldest foal is four years old. – Old man.
The stud has produced 46 winning horses, including Italian Stakes winner Melfi (Aire), who finished third in the G2 Grand Criterium. His first year foal, the mare Ipanema Princess (Ire), finished third in the G3 Six Perfections, and he has two more stakes horses to date.
Standing alongside the Italian newcomer is Frankel (UK)’s half-brother Morpheus (GB)asks 3,500 euros.
