The new Italy Pavilion merchandise collection available at EPCOT includes rug backpacks, tumblers, bottle opener magnets, and mugs.
Italy Pavilion Rug Backpack – $95
The padded front panel of the backpack is solid red. Mickey Mouse is depicted wearing red shorts and a striped shirt, holding a boater hat in the air. Below him is printed “Italy EPCOT World Showcase”.
There are two zip pockets on the front. The Disney park and rug plates are located in the bottom corner of the front panel. The plate and zipper are made of metal.
A lug charm can be attached by removing the rubber at the top of the front of the bag.
The rest of the bag is all black. Most of the patterns feature Italian landmarks like the Colosseum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, gelato, bikes, gondolas, and the word “Italy” in white. Some words, such as “amore” and “buon giorno”, appear in red or green. There are also full-color images of Mickey and Minnie enjoying Italy.
The back of the backpack is padded black mesh. The pattern continues on the straps, which are padded at the top and adjustable at the bottom. There is also a handle built into the top.
There is a clear zip pocket inside the main pocket. The lining is yellow and features a Mickey head and ribbon pattern.
The backpack matches the recently released Italian Pavilion Ear Headband, which has the same pattern and red sequin ribbons on the ears.
Italy Pavilion Tumbler – $27.99
This black tumbler also has the same pattern. Other words in the pattern include “grazie,” “arriverci,” and “cappuccino.” It also comes with a Mickey head of the Italian flag.

The lid is transparent and slides.
The interior is made of stainless steel. Not dishwasher or microwave safe.
Italy Pavilion Bottle Opener Magnet – $14.99
The bottle opener magnet is shaped like Mickey’s head with the green, white and red stripes of the Italian flag. At the bottom of the same color is “Italia”. Below the country name is “EPCOT World Showcase”.
The bottle opener is behind Mickey’s head. He has magnets in his ears.
Mug & Saucer – $29.99
This stoneware set includes a mug and saucer. The mug is white with a black handle. The saucer is red.
One side of the mug features Minnie Mouse riding a bike. Behind her is the Italian Pavilion building with sun and clouds. Red is “Arrivederci”.
The plates have white edges. Divided into two sections, one is the perfect size for a mug and the other is the perfect size for a snack or spoon.
The side section of the saucer features Mickey riding a gondola. Behind him is a building. Below that is printed “Italy” in white and “EPCOT World Showcase” in black. At the top of the design are the words “La vita è bella” (“Life is beautiful”) in white.
On the other side of the mug, the words “Tiramisu”, “Gelato”, “Cappuccino”, and “Amore” are written in red. Each snack is represented by a food image, and “Amore” is represented by a heart.
