Picart Petcare celebrates its 70th anniversary with the opening of a new facility in Can Prat, Linar del Valles.

The new facility will triple the company’s production capacity. The company said the new factory is equipped with the latest technology and advanced machinery specifically designed to raise product quality and safety standards.

According to Picart, the new facility’s technology will allow for full traceability throughout the production process.

Founded in 1953, Picart specializes in pet foods developed by veterinarians and formulated with high-quality ingredients to support the overall health and wellness of dogs and cats. Since its founding, the company has grown to include a staff of 35 people and a turnover of €14.9 million (US$16.3 million) in 2022.
