Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy met with Belgian King Philip I and Prime Minister Alexander de Croo in Davos, the Ukrainian Head of State’s press office reported.
“In Davos, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with His Majesty King Philippe I of Belgium and Prime Minister Alexander de Croo. “We discussed the priorities of “until the actual start of the negotiation process on EU accession,” the Presidential Press Office said on its official website on Tuesday.
The president reportedly expressed his gratitude to King Philip I and King Alexander de Croo “for the great defense assistance to our country from Belgium.” -16 fighter jets and the training of Ukrainian pilots by Belgian experts,” he said in the recent 15th Defense Support Package. ”
President Zelensky “highly appreciated Belgium’s leading role in creating the 1.7 billion euro Ukraine Support Fund, which will be financed by taxes on the income from frozen Russian assets.” The President reportedly emphasized the importance of creating an effective mechanism to confiscate the frozen assets of aggressors.
The parties also discussed Belgium’s participation in the implementation of the provisions of the Ukraine peace formula.
