SINGAPORE: Fans of K-Pop girl group NewJeans may want to head to Orchard Road in Singapore on February 3.
According to a January 27th announcement on sportswear giant Nike’s app, “NewJeans will perform live at Nike Orchard Road on February 3rd.” “We’re not super shy about it.”
Nike said fans will have a chance to see the girl group live on January 30 by answering the question, “Tell me why you’re a big fan of New Jeans.”
NewJeans, consisting of Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Hyerin, and Haein, will perform in Singapore for the first time.
“After the performance, winners will be among the first to receive the Air Max 90 LV8 during a members-only shopping experience at Nike Orchard Road,” Nike’s announcement states.
According to Nike, fans can purchase the limited edition Nike By You It is said that it can also be done.
Nike Orchard Road is located in the building known as 268 between Apple Orchard Road and The Heeren and opened on January 19th.
The three-story, 28,000 square foot store is the brand’s largest store in Asia outside of China.
NewJeans, who debuted with the single “Attention” in July 2022, collaborated with Nike in March 2023 and appeared in the sportswear company’s Air Max campaign.
They recently won Group of the Year at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards, becoming the first K-pop female artists to win this honor. – Straits Times/ANN
