Samsung in Spain denies changes to Vivid mode on Galaxy S24

Must read

Samsung’s new Galaxy S24 series phones have a display color mismatch, which has already been acknowledged by the company. The S24 smartphone’s Vivid color profile is not as vibrant as previous models, but a new statement from Samsung Spain suggests that this change is intentional and not a product defect.

spanish blog technophilo After contacting Samsung Spain, the local branch issued the following official statement:

Adjust the color and brightness of your Galaxy S24 series products to provide more accurate and comfortable viewing during use. Some changes have been made to display technology to provide a more natural viewing experience, so users may notice a difference in color intensity compared to older devices.

This display behavior is due to intentional color adjustment and is not a product defect, so you can use it with confidence.

To give you the best experience possible, we value your feedback and continually improve our software (UX) as the market and consumer interests evolve. – Statement from Samsung Spain

We observed a difference in color reproduction on our own Galaxy S24 review unit compared to last year’s Galaxy S23. The colors in his Vivid mode on the new device were less saturated than last year’s model and not much different from the Natural color profile. We’ll keep an eye on this development and any additional information from Samsung, but there doesn’t appear to be a fix for now.
