This week there has been a backlash from some conservative Catholics in Spain who objected to the depiction of Jesus on a poster promoting Holy Week in Seville. This image has been described as homosexual, effeminate, campy, and sexual.
Religious imagery is pervasive in Western popular culture, from music videos to fashion, television shows to advertisements. Author Katie Edwards explains in her book Ad Men and Eve that “Eve is a pretty good moneymaker” and that Eve is heavily used in marketing campaigns for products such as cider, cereals, cigarettes, and perfume. It suggests that.
In my own research, I have investigated the representation of Moses in advertising. The figure of the disabled elderly male prophet Moses in the Book of Exodus is usually replaced by a young naked woman parting the Red Sea in various advertisements for sunscreen products.

Asexuality seems to be a family issue. It has been suggested that his earthly parents, the Virgin Mary and Joseph, were both celibate or celibate. Roman Catholicism prohibits such celibacy for priests, and Paul’s letter to the Corinthians mentions marriage, where he says, “It is good for them to remain unmarried, as I am.” It has said.
