There may be snow on the ground and a chill in the air, but that didn’t stop presenter Sinead Kennedy and her family from exploring Brussels.
Sinead and her husband Conor Kirwan gave birth to a baby boy, Theo, in November last year and are spending maternity leave in the Belgian city where she is stationed as a naval officer.
On Monday, she shared a photo of herself playing outside and enjoying waffles with her almost 3-year-old daughter Indi on a recent snowy day, offering a glimpse into their life abroad.
With everything ready and ready to go, the family went for a walk in the park. Looking very cozy in his pink snowsuit and yellow rain boots, Indy builds his first snowman.
She tackled the task thoroughly and we were able to get some great photos of her stroking the snow. Sinead also shared a selfie of herself and her daughter, and she said she was “the happiest girl” after Indy played with her outside.
Other photos included Connor pushing baby Theo in a pram and Sinead holding two-month-old baby Theo in her arms. Theo was also wearing gray winter clothes and a fluffy hat.
The little ones looked snug, but Sinead, who is currently on Matt’s break from the Today Show, forgot to layer up and “feeled cold”, so if she braves the snow again, she’ll have to change her outfit accordingly. I admitted I might need to reconsider my options.
“I didn’t feel very comfortable. I didn’t consider my clothing options properly… I was eating in the cold,” she wrote alongside the snap.
This outing also included Belgian delicacies, which would have definitely been a treat, at least for the indies. “Even when I’m in Rome!” Full disclosure, I don’t actually like waffles at all, but Indy is a fan,” Sinead said.
Sinead spends as much time as possible in Belgium as her husband Connor works full-time with the European Defense Agency and is based there. She previously told EVOKE: It’s very cold. people are nice. There’s a great mix of backgrounds and languages, and the city is always filled with a wonderful buzz. I feel really safe. It’s a nice place for families. ”
