Singapore Airlines has announced plans to renovate the SilverKris Lounge at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 2.
The £3.5m project includes increasing seating space by 16% and the lounge will incorporate: The airline’s recently updated facilities at Terminal 3 at Singapore Changi Airport.

The lounge will close on February 8th due to construction and is scheduled to reopen “later in the summer.”
During the closure period, Singapore Airlines First and Business Class customers, as well as PPS Club, KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members flying on Singapore Airlines flights, will be able to access United Airlines’ United Club T2 Lounge, located opposite Gate B46. will be available.
The airline also said that “eligible customers will also have access to other Star Alliance lounges at Heathrow Airport.”

“The refurbishment of the SilverKris Lounge at London Heathrow demonstrates our commitment to London and will deliver an even more enhanced experience for our customers once it reopens.”
In December, Singapore Airlines announced plans to launch flights from Gatwick Airport, with five weekly flights starting in June this year.
