Sometime in July, Huang learned that Apple products could be sold at a high price and decided to break into Apple’s offices in the same building.

But he was wary of the large number of surveillance cameras installed at Apple’s offices, making it impossible for him to go unnoticed.

On July 14th, he learned that there was a power outage throughout the building from 9pm on July 15th to 7am on July 16th, and since the CCTV was not working, he took advantage of this to break into Apple’s office. I decided to do so.

He said the crime was highly planned and premeditated, as Hoang carried out the crime at night, when there was little chance of being discovered, and carried out the crime carefully over a two-month period.

“The defendant has also taught himself how to pick locks using tools purchased for this very purpose, demonstrating a high level of involvement in the criminal enterprise,” DPP Menon added.

For burglary with intent to commit a crime, Huang could have been sentenced to up to 10 years in prison and fined.

Each charge of theft within a building could have resulted in up to seven years in prison and a fine.

A burglary could have resulted in up to three years in prison, a fine, or both.
