Singapore’s Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam visited Tamil Nadu Prime Minister MK Stalin’s campaign office in Chennai on Thursday. Consul General of Singapore in Chennai Edgar Pan also attended. Mr. Stalin said in a social media post: “It is my great pleasure to welcome Singapore’s Minister of Law and Home Affairs Thiru @kshanmugam to my residence in Tamil Nadu. His visit was an extension of my invitation, which was extended during my previous trip to Singapore. He has kindly accepted and is currently visiting Tamil Nadu to take part in the #WorldTamilDiasporaDay celebrations.”
The CM said that the successful meeting with Singaporean dignitaries during TN GIM2024 has high expectations for promoting cooperation across diverse fields including education, culture and industry. “I am optimistic that our discussions will yield fruitful results and contribute significantly to the progress and development of India and Tamil Nadu.”
