During the February 14 meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group (also known as the Ramstein Format Meeting), Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles announced that Spain would provide Ukraine with a large number of armored personnel carriers.

detail: Robles told fellow Ramstein participants that Spain had urgently transported a number of M113 tracked armored personnel carriers, two of which had been converted into ambulances.
Spain will then provide Ukraine with several fire trucks, snowplows and personnel carriers, as well as a number of other equipment, including two small boats, a generator and a water treatment system.
Robles also announced that Ukraine would be given “different types of air defense equipment, equipment for anti-aircraft and naval-based military operations,” but did not provide details.
Spain also indicated its readiness to join the Six-Coalition for the long-term development of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the capabilities created within the Ramstein system.
