Spain is preparing to migrate all DTT TV channels to HD on February 14th. After that date, all DTT transmissions must be HD as SD will be turned off.

Atresmedia’s SD and HD simultaneous distribution of Antena 3 and La Sexta will end with a fixed deadline of February 14th, moving to HD along with other SD channels (Nova, Neox, Mega).

Local TV stations Cat3 and TV Canaria have already migrated to HD on January 16th, and the remaining local stations such as TeleMadrid, EITB, Canal Sur, A Panto, CMM, RTPA, IB3 will move from February 8th to 12th. Transition between days.
