These include “La Rey del Mar” starring Luis Tosar and Blanca Portillo, “The Immortal”, “Camilo Superstar”, “The Long Shadows”, “History of Crime”, Includes “The Crime of Benejuzar.” Alejandro Amenabar’s El Cautivo will be filmed in Alicante in 2024.

Beyond the movies

Alicante’s charm extends beyond cinema, with two short films and three documentaries. Television also made its presence felt with shows such as “Got Talent España” and “De Tapas por España.”

The city’s beautiful locations are featured in advertisements and catalogs of major brands. In particular, the campaign between the footwear company Joseppo and Elsa Pataki on Tabarka Island attracted attention in 2023.
