Spain’s Queen Letizia looked chic in a black embroidered Dries Van Noten suit as she headed to the opening of a building in Barcelona with her husband King Felipe today.
The 51-year-old royal opted for a double-breasted jacket with padded shoulders and cigarette pants, which she teamed with a red-soul Carolina Hellerea slingback.
The Spanish royal, known for staying high in the style stakes, opted for oversized gold earrings and a Carolina Hellerea bag, also by Carolina Herrerea, as she headed to the inauguration of Puig Company’s second tower.
To add more glamor to the look, Letizia opted for gold eyeshadow and a smokey eye, along with cream foundation and glossy lips.
Meanwhile, Felipe looked dapper than usual in a three-piece suit and red tie.
It all started yesterday when Letizia showed off her fashion sense during a visit to FEDER, the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases, in Madrid.
The royal arrived in style in Hugo Boss’ striking chartreuse blazer, priced at £354.99, paired with wide-leg trousers and suede boots.
Debuting in November 2023, Letizia’s ‘Jestena’ jacket is made from textured wool with an asymmetrical double-breasted front and classic notch lapels.
She visits FEDER each year to learn about the challenges and opportunities that charities anticipate in the year ahead.
The king, who is honorary president, had a big smile on his face when he arrived at the chair. Meeting at the organization’s headquarters in the Spanish capital.
Queen Letizia made a sartorial statement in Hugo Boss’ £354.99 wool jacket, which features an asymmetrical double-breasted front, classic notched lapels and buttoned cuffs.
She let the jacket take center stage, complementing wide-legged trousers, suede boots, and a long wool coat, all in a sophisticated black hue.
The royal mother of two opted for her signature make-up, which incorporated a smokey eye, bronzed cheekbones and nude lip, while her brunette hair fell over her shoulders.
Letizia completed the ensemble Minimalist jewelry consisting of diamond stud earrings and a gold ring.
The former journalist is honorary president of the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases (FEDER), which was founded in 1999.
The Spanish Rare Disease Federation aims to promote “the need to work together with all stakeholders to promote access to diagnosis for people suffering from rare diseases.”
They help people affected by a disease that affects less than 5 in 10,000 people. There are over 3 million people in Spain alone who meet this criteria.
This comes after Queen Letizia of Spain attended last week’s International Safer Internet Day event.
European monarchs visited Los Jovens in Madrid to promote the safe and responsible use of the internet and technology among children and teenagers.
To commemorate this occasion, Letizia met with several young people to discuss how they can reduce the risks of harm online.
The royal mother of two has been raising awareness of online issues for years and often takes part in annual events.
For the occasion, the fashion-conscious royal looked chic in suit separates, including black cigarette-style pants.
The fashion-forward royal paired her suit with a simple yet elegant off-white top and completed her look with black leather high-heeled loafers.
The royal, who hosted the event, shared his thoughts on the importance of internet security and took time to speak with the young people in attendance.
With the slogan “Together for a Better Internet,” the campaign is held every February.
This global event brings together committees and supporters from around the world to plan events that promote web safety.
