More than 30 Spanish political parties and organizations have joined an initiative to condemn “a new international media campaign against Venezuela and a diplomatic offensive aimed at distorting the facts that led to the legitimate disqualification of far-right leader María Colina Machado.” Participated.
The group, called Mosolevo, says the media is “hiding the fact that Mrs. Machado has a history of coups and in Venezuela represents a global far-right extremist group that is sowing the seeds of violence in Venezuela.” He declared. The 2002 coup, the 2014 and 2017 Guarimba.
They specified that she was removed from her deputation in 2014 “for violating the constitution and laws of the Republic by accepting to become charge d’affaires of another country (Panama) in order to intervene against Venezuela in the OAS.”
Later, the Mosolevo newspaper explained that Machado was disqualified for having committed a crime, which “would mean severe prison terms in any country in the world, even those that defend her.” . In it, they cited “falsities in her sworn declaration of assets, her status as a public official,” and “active calls for military invasion of Venezuela (…).”
In a communiqué, Spain’s Solidarity Movement condemned the “U.S. ultimatum” and “threats and attempts to ignore the orders of the Supreme Court.”
The document was signed by the Bolivarian Solidarity Platform with Venezuela, Izquierda Unida (IU), the Spanish Communist Party, the 26th of July Group, the National Coordinator of Cuban Solidarity, and the Spanish Communist Youth League.
