SINGAPORE — Taiwanese bubble tea chain Milksha on Sunday (December 31, 2023) closed its last operating store at Tampines One Shopping Mall and exited the bubble tea space in Singapore.
On the same day, the brand announced its sudden departure in a post on social media. “Thank you for your support! We sincerely appreciate you joining us on our journey since 2019,” Mirksha wrote.
In the post, the brand asked fans to join them for an unforgettable “last drink of memories” or stop by to share their memories.

As of this writing, Milksha’s Instagram and Facebook pages still remain intact. The brand has not disclosed the reason for the withdrawal.
Last November, Milksha announced on social media that the app would undergo “planned maintenance” starting November 27, 2023. No specific date was given for the resumption of service.
Users were also reminded to redeem their remaining credits and vouchers by November 26, 2023. This is because after that time it is no longer valid or subject to a refund.
About Milksha
Milksha is known as Milk Shop in Taiwan and opened its first store in Kali, Tainan in 2007.
The company entered the highly competitive local bubble tea market in 2019, competing with popular brands such as Koi, LiHo and Gong Cha. Its unique proposition was to use only 100 percent fresh milk in all drinks.
According to the brand, it currently has more than 200 stores in Taiwan, Japan, Canada, Australia, and Macau.
In October last year, coffee chain Flash Coffee also closed all 11 of its stores in Singapore.
