Via Carota is a West Village trattoria from popular downtown chefs Jody Williams and Rita Sodi. Inspired by Sodi’s 17th century villa in the hills near Florence that he once called home, Via Carota respects its old Italian roots, lifestyle, cuisine and décor.

Their Village Trattoria has been thoughtfully renovated, with wood floors reclaimed from an old gymnasium, vintage chapel chairs from England, and rustic wood cabinets filled with heirloom china. Servers wear crisp white shirts and long linen aprons, and there are communal tables and private rooms surrounded by wine bottles.
