Vestas wins 63MW order in Italy

Vestas has been awarded a contract for a 63 MW wind farm in Italy. The contract includes the supply and installation of 14 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines and a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service contract.

“This order shows the suitability of our latest model for the Italian market. We look forward to seeing Vestas’ 4 MW platform continue to make a significant contribution to Italy’s energy transition over the coming years.” said Francesco Amati, general manager of Vestas Italia.

Delivery of the turbines is scheduled for the first half of 2025, with commissioning scheduled for the second half of the same year.
