Kawasaki Pucetti Racing January test at Jerez and Portimo
The opening round of WorldSBK and WorldSSP in 2024 will take place in just over a month at Phillip Island, Australia. That means it’s time for Kawasaki Puccietti Racing to get out on the track and evaluate the work completed over the winter months. Manuel Pucetti’s technical team and riders Can Onchu and Tito Rabat have been preparing vigorously for what is expected to be a difficult but very interesting season.
After undergoing surgery on part of his brachial plexus that was injured in the accident in Assen, Kang can’t wait to get back to the Ninja ZX-6R, which has completed its 2024 update. The young Turk will aim to regain his confidence on the bike and return to full fitness. Can will complete a five-day test in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, on January 20-22 and January 24-25.
Tito Rabat was able to test the KRT Factory Replica Ninja ZX-10RR, with which he will conclude his first full season with Kawasaki Puccietti Racing. This bike has been updated according to the new regulations. The Spaniard hasn’t stopped training and is keen to adapt his riding style to Ninja. He is scheduled to test at Jerez de la Frontera on January 24-25 and at Autodromo do Algarve in Portimao, Portugal on January 29-30.
