A prankster was arrested in Europe earlier this month after allegedly dumping a bucket of dog feces onto unsuspecting passengers on a Belgian subway train. It was all about a few clicks on YouTube.
Belgian authorities were fed up with his nonsense and arrested and charged a person they named YD with assault and battery, criminal damage to property by violence, and criminal damage to property – reportedly for the prank. (January 3) in Brussels, the day after he allegedly confessed to police.
It wasn’t just dog poop…police say he threw a mixture of various substances at innocent bystanders, including feces, oil, beer, water, leaves and paint.
Since his arrest, the man has been identified as YaNike on YouTube, and prosecutors say they can trace the incident through seven of his 16 videos.
In his most disturbing video, “Suprise du Chef (6)” (translated as “Chef’s Surprise”), released on November 28, he shows his disgusting feces on horrified train passengers. He threw the bucket and ran away.
According to local news outlet Sudinfo, the victim has filed a complaint, and according to Politico, a complaint has also been filed by local transportation operator STIB.
YaNike only has around 480 subscribers, so it’s far from YouTube fame…not to mention the pressure to do whatever it takes for viral fame really stinks.
