The running order for the Dansk Melody Grand Prix 2024 final has been announced by Danish Broadcasting Corporation.
DR has announced the voting order for Dansk Melody Grand Prix 2024 on the broadcaster app. Voting for Dansk Melody Grand Prix 2024 is scheduled to begin within the app from February 10th, one week before the live broadcast. The order of execution for the first round is as follows:
- Saba – “sand”
- Stella – “Please sign here.”
- Chu chu – “The Chase (ZoomZoom)”
- Basim – “Johnny”
- RoseeLu – “Real Love”
- U Blue – “Planetary Hearts”
- Janus Wiberg – “I Need Your Love”
- Aura Dione “Mirror Ball of Hope”
The Dansk Melody Grand Prix will be held in two parts this year as well. In the first round, all eight acts will perform, and the public and judges will vote on their performances. His three acts with the most points in this round will advance to the Super Finals. Voting will resume in the Super Final and the act that will represent Denmark at Eurovision 2024 and earn the most points will be selected.
Dansk Melody Grand Prix 2024 will take place on February 17th at the DR Concerttuset in Copenhagen. The show is hosted by Stephanie Srug and Sarah Bro. A combination of jury and public votes will determine the entry to Malmö, Denmark. Unlike in recent years, the number of judges will increase and will include judges from outside Denmark.
Riley won the 2023 edition with ‘Breaking My Heart’ and represented Denmark at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool. He qualified for the second semi-final, but did not qualify for the grand final. Instead, he received six points only from Icelanders, finishing 14th out of 16 countries.

Denmark first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957, along with Austria and the United Kingdom. So far Denmark has won this contest three times, the first time being in 1963 when she performed “Dansevis” with Grete and Jorgen Ingman. Denmark also won this contest in 2000, represented by the Olsen brothers. Their most recent win was in 2013 when Emery De Forest performed “Only Teardrops.” Denmark has not reached the final of the Eurovision Song Contest since 2019.
