As Saba won the Dansk Melody Grand Prix, she will represent Denmark in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.
The Dansk Melody Grand Prix 2024 took place on February 17th at the DR Concerttuset in Copenhagen, hosted by Stefanie Srug and Sara Bro. A combination of jury and public voting selected the entry for Malmö, Denmark.
A total of eight acts will be performed in the first round. His three acts with the most points in this round advanced to the Super Finals. Voting has resumed for the Super Final.
The results of the super final were as follows.
- Mackerel – “Sand” – (37 points)
- Basim – “Johnny” – (34 points)
- Janus Wiberg – “I Need Your Love” – (25 points)

- U Blue – “Planetary Hearts”

Saba will appear in the first half of the second semi-final on May 9 in Malmö.

Denmark first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957, along with Austria and the United Kingdom. So far Denmark has won this contest three times, the first time being in 1963 when she performed “Dansevis” with Grete and Jorgen Ingman. Denmark also won this contest in 2000, represented by the Olsen brothers. Their most recent win was in 2013 when Emery De Forest performed “Only Teardrops.” Denmark has not reached the final of the Eurovision Song Contest since 2019.
