Stephen Fletcher scored two hat-tricks in Scotland’s last game against Gibraltar.
Scotland completed their preparations for the Euro 2024 final with friendlies against Gibraltar and Finland, with Garmisch-Partenkirchen set to be their base for the tournament.
Steve Clarke’s side will face Gibraltar at the Estadio Algarve in Faro, Portugal on June 3, before Finland visit Hampden Park four days later.
They will then head to a Bavarian resort at the foot of Germany’s highest mountain, Zugspitze, to prepare for the opening match against hosts Germany in Munich.
Clark told the Scottish FA website: “I am particularly pleased that our final game before the tournament will be played at Hampden and am looking forward to what will surely be a raucous atmosphere in front of a packed house of Scottish supporters that night. I’m looking forward to experiencing it.” . ”
Finland, who are ranked 59th in the world and 23 places below Scotland, will know by then whether they will join Germany coach Clarke’s team.
Marc Kanerva’s side finished third in their qualifying group behind Denmark and Slovenia and will face Wales in the play-off semi-finals in March, with the winner facing either Poland or Estonia.
Finland played Scotland eight times, losing six and drawing two, the last time ending 1-1 at Tynecastle Park in a prelude to the 1998 World Cup final.
Gibraltar, ranked 201st in the world, finished last in their qualifying group with no goals and 41 goals conceded.
Scotland won both matches in their Euro 2016 qualifiers, scoring six goals in each victory.
Estadio Algarve was also the venue for the Euro 2020 warm-up match between Scotland and the Netherlands in June 2021, which ended 2-2.
Clark visited Garmisch-Partenkirchen last week and will be staying with the team at Obermuehle, a 120-room luxury resort just a short walk from the team’s training ground.
