Adult content site Pornhub has released Ireland’s top search results for 2023, breaking down the country’s most racially segregated regions by county, with some eyebrow-raising results.
Irish Mirror partnered with the porn site’s Insights team to research popular searches in Ireland, with Pornhub’s dedicated statisticians surveying every county in Ireland, from Mayo to Dublin, Donegal to Cork. I found out that they are announcing the top relative search terms. Find out what each county is looking for.
When it comes to Pornhub traffic, Ireland ranks 42nd in the world, with the average Irish user spending around 9 minutes and 38 seconds on Pornhub. Still, they spend less time on the site than other countries, 31 seconds less than the global average.

The most popular searches in Ireland match similar trends happening elsewhere in the world. His first most popular search term was “milf,” then Irish (in keeping with the trend of locals being interested in other locals), and his third most popular search term was It was “lesbian”.
These three search terms were by far the most popular in Ireland, with more than twice as many searches as the next most popular term. Other popular searches included threesome, anal, teacher, massage, and stepmom.
Comparing the categories viewed by visitors to Ireland with the rest of the world, Irish people were particularly interested in the UK, with an average of +343% more views than the rest of the world.

The Pornhub team also revealed the relative search results for each county. It’s a term that each county searches for more often than any other, and there are some interesting categories explored across the country.
Of Ireland’s major cities, Galway was the most searched for interracial sex, while Limerick was searched for swingers. Compared to other counties, ‘Cum’ was the most searched word in Dublin, while ‘Fingering’ was the most searched word in Cork. Despite County Mayo having the oldest population of any county in Ireland, County Donegal had the most searches for Olds, and Mayo went even further by searching for Kitchens.
